In an effort to reach a wider international audience, VisorCentral is trying to publish publishing more news from abroad. VisorCentral reader Patrick Boch, located in Heidelberg Germany, provides us with the following update.

Food-Discounter Aldi will again offer the Visor Platinum, branded as "Medion", starting Thursday. This time, however, with a reduced price tag: 398 DM, which is equal to about $180, so surprisingly even a bit below the US list price!

Handspring recently opened a second "Handspring Center" in Munich -basically a shop where you can view and try all Handspring PDAs as well as a broad range of Springboard modules and accessories. The first shop opened this August.

The upcoming Visor offered by Tchibo will be called "Visor TCM Edition" but is identical to the Visor Neo, with smoke color.
