Palm/Dell deal

Wed Apr 12, 2000 - 9:34 AM EDT - By James Hromadka

Palm announced today an agreement with Dell where Dell will offer Palm-branded products through its direct channel and website. From the press release:
"By incorporating the Palm brand products into its product line, Dell will significantly augment the sales organization behind these popular products and further drive momentum for the Palm OS® platform in the enterprise market. Under terms of the expanded relationship, Palm will work with Dell to support growing customer demand for Palm products in the large
business market. Palm products are available to Dell corporate customers through its Dellware program and to consumers through its Gigabuys.com Website."
Maybe Handspring and Apple should have a similar deal as the Visor has USB and works with the Mac out of the box.
