What about dropping/impact protection?
I'm planning on buying a new case to accomodate my new Visor Phone, both this one and the Veja case both look functional and have good styling, the one from Case Tech( http://www.case-tech.com/products/207-VISORPHONE.html ) seems it would provide the best protection but its got all the style of a brick and Im unsure about the usability of it. I dont like the colors of the Veja case (I would end up dying the tan to black) and I would have to modify it to accomodate the travel charger. Its also a lot more expensive. As far as looks/usability go if this one provides good impact protection I will go with this one. Any thoughts?

My first on sucked but the replacement was perfect!
I was one of the first on the block to order the case and I was very disappointed in that it did not fit very well at all. Their customer support was very responsive and the replacement I received is outstanding. I would highly recommend this case.

yes
I think it's great. After some "breaking in" of the leather and getting used to using it, sometimes with clip, sometimes not (and with terrific ease),I am a happy camper. Hat's off to EBCases.

Magnetic closure likely to work...
I 've read on the-gadgeteer.com that some Palm device cases have magnetic closures (some of which do fit Visors, IIRC) but I can't remember if there are any Visor-specific ones. It did come up that the reason for the "keep magnets away from computers" is to avoid demagnetizing disks--floppies, Zips, hard drives, etc. Since Palms and Visors use electrical circuits and chips, there isn't anything magnetic in there. I don't know of anything that would be magnetic in the phone module either, but I can't say with as much certainty.

the best VisorPhone case - for now
It's no Vaja, but it's the best VisorPhone case available - at least for now. I'm much happier with this E&B case than I was with an earlier version of the slipper for my VDX - there's no plastic over the buttons and the velcro closure is much improved. However, button access is a bit difficult (thanks to the rather thick leather surrounding the cutout). Another annoyance is the tendency for one or another of either the phone's or the Visor's buttons to get pressed (and held) when inserting the VisorPhone/Visor combo into the case - despite careful handling, I still find myself accidentally placing calls when putting the unit in the case. Possible improvement (or at least an interesting experiment): have the case lid flip down (instead of up).

also
I did test it with the (original) eyemodule - it works really well! Also good with the Totall Recall voice recorder from Targus.

Almost perfect
I decided to modify the case by cutting the leather at the top of the Visor, making it more like the original slipper prism case. It's much better! I can use the Visorphone in the case without the headphone, and I can change modules without removing the visor from the case. Also, it works really well with the mini-Jam...the headphones fit through the hole, and the buttons are accessible with the case closed. I love this case.

An absolute must for VisorPhone users!
The Slipper VisorPhone Case is a worthwhile investment if you are going to use your phone regularly. I've called people with it while the lid is closed and they've heard me just fine. Better to rest your cheek on black leather than a Prism screen. The case itself looks quite attractive. True, its no Vaja case, but it does the job well at a better price. The criticisms that the review pointed out about the tilting and access to the power button are real, but IMO, minor nits. Once you get comfortable with the case and it has had time to stretch out, it fits quite nicely. Another plus is that the case works fine with other modules. The open space on top allows easy access to the SmartMedia card on a Memplug, or the controls and strero jack for a SoundsGood. Haven't tested it with an Eyemodule yet, though.

Excellent case
It took a long time for me to get this case too, (so E&B refunded shipping) but it shouldnt now. Great protection comes from more leather than the regular E&B case. I never noticed the tilt befor the review but see it is the cause of the power button hole not lining up. Maby it will wear in but I think E&B should get rid of the thick piece above the power button. I would not suggest keeping paper cards in the front pocket, they will bend and touch the screen. I also cut the zipper handle off so it would not bounce around. P.S. Good review.
