AcidFreecell by Red Mercury

>> Read Review (Rating 4/5) <<

Basically, AcidFreecell is an advanced version of solitaire to go. You can’t carry a pack of cards with you on the bus and spread them out on the floor, but you can take your Visor out of your pocket and play AcidFreecell. Where solitaire can get boring, this game does not. In fact, while some of the strategies you employ in solitaire are useful, AcidFreecell requires an additional set of instincts and wit. If you like solitaire, you will love AcidFreecell

If ya like Microsoft's Freecell...
...you will probably like this one! My only complaint is that the cards are sometime hard to differentiate, especially in the wrong light.

very good implimentation
There are a few implimentations of freecell, and this is the best one. I especially like the fact that it will automatically get rid of cards that can safely go away. The only thing it needs is an UNDO button. blech!

Cool animations
There are some cool suprises if you keep playing. I liked the fireworks, but after getting a good win streak, there were more suprises to be had. This is a good update to a classic.

Worthless game...
I'm sure some people enjoy Solitaire. I, for one, am not one of these people. Despite the first review's claims to the contrary, AcidFreecell is an essentially watered down game of Solitaire. You pay the cost of registering shareware for a game that is widespread as a free resource (with maybe 2 less features) across the web. My advice: get some better games to pass the time, this one isn't even worth the download

Pay $10 for minutes played counter?
The Freecell game has been around for years, and now these dunderheads add 3 new features to tell you how many minutes you played the game today, and you're supposed to run out and by it? big deal? They've done almost nothing except re-release a piece of software that worked just fine already. Wow, I can't wait to get a new ToDo list that will tell me how many items I checked off at the end of each day, or how many times I checked my battery level in a 24 hour period. Thanks for nothing!

A Statistics rich, nicely done game.
I really enjoy FreeCell, and Red Mercury has done a good job with their version. Lots of stats and info. I'd give the game 5 out of 5 stars except The graphics layout makes it a little hard to tell red from black sometimes. End result: 4.5/5
