Too noisy to be a *silent* alarm
A silent vibrating alarm for the Visor is a great idea; unfortunately, the InnoPak/2V is too noisy to be considered a 'silent' alarm. It would not be appropriate for say, the theatre, and may even be too noticable for use in meetings. I have had cell phones and pagers with MUCH quieter vibrating alarms that have been nearly as strong as the InnoPak's, so I don't see why they couldn't have used a similar motor.

Louder than an airplane
No, I'm not saying the Innopak/2V is too loud. It's acceptable. But this is the first alarm that could notify my while I work on airplanes. Only problem is the IP Conf resets back too alarm each time the module is removed. So it has to be reset to vibe after insertion.

Good Stuff
Wish the hack would allow the vib alarm to sound longer but be able to cancel the alarm in the middle of it's vibe.

Cool Board! - Battery cover on visor need a fix, though...
I really like the InnoPak! It's true plug and play and works with all my apps so far. I've noticed that the battery cover rattles a little when the vibrating starts. A piece of foam-tape fixed the problem though. That makes it much more quiet. Can't wait for InnoGear's MP3 player now!

Easy to use, and cost effective!
I couldn't wait for the 6 pack as I work in a very noisy environment and can't hear my alarms. I've used it trouble free for three days now and am well satisfied I got my money's worth.

This is a pathetic product
This is the best they can come up with? It vibrates and has 2 MB of ram. Wow. I'll have to run out and buy a Visor right now so I can use this killer app.

And this is good, because....
I purchased the module, and it seems to work okay. However, if you use anything like Launcher III to manage your deskstop, the location of the software is not preserved - you end up dragging and dropping the icons back to their location each time the backup module is inserted. Users who have invested in modules like the camera and modem find this behavior frustrating after a while. If you don't plan on using a lot of the various Springboard modules, perhaps the extra 2MB is worth the price. Once everything is moved and configured it seems to work well. After using mine about a week, I just moved all my data back to the Visor and I'll worry about it once I get closer to exceeding the 8MB limit. And Springboard developers take note! Give us an option between the graphite and ice colors.

About time we get some inexpensive springborads!
Ha guys, what is the advantage of a Palm IIIex now?

Good features on a budget.
The module has worked perfectly for me, and when I'm wearing a coat a vibrating alarm is great. This is also perfect for those that got the 2Mb Visor and need a little extra document space.

I love it
Innogear shipped the Innopak/2V to me right on schedule. Setup was a breeze and its worked great. The only downside I've noticed is it causes a greater battery drain on the system. I'd recommend it to anyone.
