Bluetooth to be demonstrated at COMDEX

Tue Sep 14, 1999 - 11:30 PM EDT - By Mike Lee

Bluetooth, a wireless PAN (Personal Area Network) standard, will be demonstrated at Fall COMDEX, beginning November 15.

Bluetooth enabled devices such as cell phones, PDAs, and home PCs, can continuously synchronize together, whenever they're within range of each other.

Bluetooth has previously been demontrated for Handspring's Visor. During Internet World, Visors equipped with Bluetooth Springboards were able to synchronize, transfer files, and chat.
