Sony Palm OS Device in early 2000

The Register has this story where apparantly Sony will be releasing their first Palm OS device "at the earliest possible date in 2000," according to Sony executive Masafumi Minami.

Let's see, we have the Handspring Visor in retail stores and in Europe in early 2000, the Sony Palm OS device in early 2000, the color Palm organizer in summer 2000, not to mention the many springboards we are going to see. I have said it before and I will say it again: 2000 will be the Year of the Palm.
