C|Net has this article on how retail sales of PDAs are 169% over the same month a year ago.

People are starting to buy more expensive PDAs because they want the features, even when some of the PDAs cost almost $700. Palm sales rose 8% to be 73.6% of the retail market, and number two Casio has a distant 17.4% of the PDA market.
