VC-News: VisorCentral Awards announcement
GAINESVILLE, FL --Aug. 8, 2000-- VisorCentral announced today that it would conduct its first annual VisorCentral Awards during the week of September 11-15, 2000. The VisorCentral Awards will coincide with the one year celebration of the initial announcement by Handspring of the Visor™ line of Palm OS™ compatible handheld computers.
The VisorCentral Awards will cover the vast array of Visor accessories and Springboard™ modules that have been released from September 14, 1999 to September 4, 2000.
Below is the list of winners that will be announcd during the First Annual VisorCentral Awards:- General Accessory
- Carrying Case of the Year
- Keyboard of the Year
- Stylus of the Year
- Application of the Year
- Springboard™ Module of the Year
- Product of the Year
Each day during September 11-15, 2000, VisorCentral will announce at least one of the winners, with Friday, September 15 being the day that the Springboard Module of the Year and Product of the Year winners are announced.
