Fabric keyboard

Wed Nov 8, 2000 - 2:02 PM EST - By James Hromadka

Fabric keyboardElectroTextiles has developed the first fabric keyboard. From the press release:
The Elektex™ keyboard, developed by the British company ElectroTextiles, can be folded, scrunched and washed, without losing functionality. "Elektex™ will revolutionise mobile computing and communications," said development director Chris Chapman. "A keyboard that you can roll-up and put in your pocket, that is waterproof, lightweight and robust, will make life easier for people communicating on the move the world over."
There isn't anything firm on a Visor-specific keyboard yet, but there will most likely be something next year. I think that this would be a great keyboard for students and mobile professionals alike.
