KeyContacts Announced

Fri Jun 21, 2002 - 8:54 PM EDT - By James Hromadka

Chapura today announced KeyContacts, a Windows conduit that expands Outlook Contact synchronization for Palm Powered devices. Here are some details from the press release:
"Outlook customers using KeyContacts instead of the Palm OS Address Book application will be able to synchronize 40 additional Contacts fields, including all phone numbers, all addresses, full name, job title, assistant's name, birthday, anniversary, spouse and children's names, and more. KeyContacts also supports over 250 categories, significantly more than the number of standard categories in the Palm OS. Because a contact on the handheld can now have multiple categories associated with it, a salesperson, for example, can store a new lead under multiple, customized categories like "New Leads" and "New York Contacts." In addition, categories and folders in KeyContacts will automatically match previously set categories and folders on the desktop, eliminating the need for users to change the way they organize their information. ."
KeyContacts will be available on June 25 for $24.95. Note that this is only for souping up your Outlook Contacts synchronization; you would use PocketMirror for Calendar, ToDo, and Notes synchronization.
