You can never back-up enough... |
I think it's a great value. I travel a lot, and got the Visory so I wouldn't have to travel with my laptop all the time.
If the laptop isn't available to sync, there's piece of mind knowing my data is just a module shove away. :-)
If you're willing to plunk down $150 for a module or two, what's $40.00?

Does what is intended to do. |
One day I just finished a job walk and took a lot on notes on my Visor. While I was waiting in the lobby, I started playing a game I had loaded. Well the game caused my Visor to go into an endless loop. Resetting didn't work. I Didn't want to do a hard reset and loose my data. All attemps to recover from this failed, so I decided to take the battery out for a few seconds. I lost all my data. If I had the back up module, I would have been saved. Now I have it, and when ever I leave the office I back up the visor while I am driving. And when I am in the field and have taken some notes I don't want to loose, the Visor get backed up. This is a must have IMHO.

Saved me much frrstration! |
Don't ya hate it when the new software you install crashes your Visor? I do, now I just back-up everything before trying new software. If it crashes and requires a hard reset, I don't worry. I just restore everything from the backup module and off I go trying more new stuff! Great peace of mind for backing up your important data and work!

I sync a lot and really didn't need the extra cost to the unit.....I wouldn't buy this again, but that does not mean that it's a bad product
